Introducing Luna Lodge…

Sol –

Erica and her friend Kate feel lucky to be invited to an event at Luna Lodge. It’s relatively new, and not much is known about the tribe, but like a lot of people they are curious.

Sol was supposed to act like a perfectly ordinary human, but when Erica’s life was in danger he took a superhuman leap to safely, and changed the path his people were on.

This done in one quick read has a lot of world building, and focuses on how we deal with the unknown, that which is different, and new. Several secondary characters are introduced, both hybrid and human, that I look forward to seeing in future stories.

Titus – “She was trying to create an image for the hybrids,” …

Kate has first hand experience with the hybrids of Luna Lodge from book one, which just might make her the perfect PR person to help them control their image in the media as the world comes to terms with the fact hybrids exist.

Titus is the leader of the hybrids, he’s not accustomed to being challenged or having some demand things of him, but Kate isn’t going to back down just because he growls.

One of the things I particularly enjoyed in this story was the way Kate formed relationships with so many different members of the Luna Lodge community, showing just one of the many ways in which she’s a good match for Titus.

Lucius – “Intense didn’t even begin to describe Lucius.”

Lucius is Mr. Uptight, contained and controlled, Hannah is the part planner whose people skills means her office is the one everyone gravitated too. Need someone to listen, offer a word of advice? That’s Hannah. But what if you’re the guy who just doesn’t talk much, except about keeping everyone safe?

This book moves forward several pieces of the puzzle, making it clear something big is happening in this series.

This series is available in Kindle Unlimited, so no doubt, I’ll keep reading.
