One of the many downsides to marrying a stranger is not knowing much about them, add to that assumptions, stereotypes and a few miscommunications and the honeymoon period becomes one of discovery and revelation.
Anna is a human, perhaps not as physically tough as a bear shifter, but Heinrick quickly discovers she has the heart, and mind, of a true Queen of the North.
This done in one Kindle Unlimited quick read is positively charming. The newlyweds are each making a good faith effort, and their attempts to understand one another, applying the ways and norms of their own people creates all kinds of interesting fun.
